The Longest Train route of India
The Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh Express of Vivek express series is the Indians longest train route and even also it is the longest train in subcontinent. The train starts from the southernmost tip point India, the Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu state and reaches the destination in 96 Hours to Dibrugarh of Assam.
The train passes through various states of India and has stops in 57 important places. The train travels 4273 kilometers across various states of India.
The train starts from Kanyakumari and travel through Nagerkovil to reach Trivandram and kochi in kerala state. The train passes through Coimbatore and salem in Tamilnadu and Nellore, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam in Andhrapradesh.
Then the train travels through Bhuvaneswar of Orrisa, Asansol of Bihar, Durgapur and Siliguri of West Bengal and reaches Guwahati , Dimapur , Dibrugarh in Assam. The train travels through eight states to reach the destination.

Kanyakumari
The place is meant for the travelers who love art and culture. This place has various temples, seashores and it is an attraction for yatra travelers or divine trip.
The sightseeing are Vivekananda rock, Vivekananda Memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Vattakkottai, the traditional Padmanaburam palace, vavathurai , udayagiri fort and Gandhi Museum.
The train travels through Nagerkovil to Trivandrum. The distance between two destinations is around 100 kms. This train travel half an hour faster than other trains.
Trivandrum
When you hear this name you will automatically remember the richest temple of India – the Padmanaba swamy temple. There is a music festival to celebrate saraswati goddess at navarathri mandap in this temple. From Trivandrum the train travels three and half hour to reach Cochin.
Cochin

Cochin lies in the shores of Arabian sea and it is an important port of India. The cochin situated in the Ernakulam district of Kerala and the name come from the Malayalam word “Kochi alli”. Cochin has lot of places and hotels to visit.
The train starts from Cochin and travel 4 hours to reach Coimbatore which is in Tamilnadu state.
Coimbatore
The sightseeing places are the famous Marudhamalai temple of Lord Muruga, Dhayanalinga temple, Black thunder theme park and Indira Gandhi museum. The Coimbatore has hot summer climate, medium rainy season and high cold season.
The train starts from Coimbatore and reaches to Salem after two and half hours travel.
Salem
Salem is one of the most famous tourist spots of tamilnadu. You can travel to Yercad Tourist spot, Kiliyur falls, Tharamangalam and Mettur dam from salem easily. The famous temples in salem are Alargirinathar temple, kottai mariamman temple, tharamangalam temple and Ellaipidari amman temple.
From salem the train travels to Nellore in Andhrapradesh.
Nellore
There are various wonderful sightseeing places in Nellore. The important ones are Mypadu beach, Pulicat lake and Nelapattu bird scantury. The train travels from Nellore to Vijayawada
Vijayawada
There are lot of places in Vijayawada which attract tourists mainly Mogalarajapuram caves, Undvali caves, Gandhi stupi in Gandhi rock, Kondapalli fort, Bhavani island and Rajivgandhi park. The Prakasam Barrage dam is a must visit for nature lovers.
There are various famous temples in Vijayawada which are the famous Kanaga durga temple and the oldest vaishnava temple , Mangalagiri. Apart from these the Amreshwar , Gundala matha and St.Mary church are famous.
Vishakapatnam
The vishakapatnam is surrounded by venkateshwara Konda, Darga Konda and Ras hill. In Venkateshwara Konda there is a siva temple, in Ras hills there is a Virgin Mary church and in darga konda there is a Isak madina are situated.
The Rushikonda beach, Gangavaram beach, bheemilii beach and Yarada beach are situtated in the east side of the city. There are various nature spots like Kailasagiri hill park, , Araku valley , kamabalakonda sanctury, Submarine museum, War memorial and Naval museum are located in Vishakapatnam. From Vishakapatnam the train travels to Bhubaneswar of Orrisa State.

It is the biggest city of orrisa state and has lots of tourist spots like lakes, caves, museum, parks and dams. The famous temples are Lingaraja temple, Muktheswar temple , Rajarani temple, Iskcon temple, Ram mandir, Shiridi sai baba temple and shirapur yogini temple.
These temples illustrate the Orissa temple architecture, tradition and culture of the people. The Bindusagar lake, Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves, Santhiga scantury, Athiri hot springs and lot of other attractions are in Bhubaneswar city.
Asansol
There are various tourist attractions are in asansol. In nawabhat the 108 Shivalinga temple is a famous spot. The mahashivaratri is a famous festival in this temple.
Siliguri
Siliguri is geographically situated one side to Bangladesh and other side to Nepal and this city connects the rest of India to the North east India. Siliguri works as the basic tourist platform for tourism department in this area where lot of people travel to small places around siliguri.
There are various tourist spots around siliguri which are Iskcon temple, Mahanandha scantury, Science city, Cornation bridge, Salugara Monastry, Madhuban Park, Umrao singh boat club and others.
Guwahati

The Kamakya temple is the major attraction of guwahati. You can enjoy the view of bhramaputra river standing in the saraighat bridge which is a treat for nature and sightseeing lovers. Apart from these the Assam state museum, guwahati planetarium are major attractions that should not missed.
Dimapur
Dimapur is located in Nagaland and it is an important spot for Nagaland and Manipur. It is an important place for the entire northeast india. The highway 39 which connects the Kohima , Imphal with other parts of the India. The Myanmar border at Moreh runs through Dimapur.
Dibrugarh
The Dehing Namti Satra which is tourist destination is located on the banks of Disang River in Sasoni Mouza and is around 8 miles from Naharkatiya town. Currently, the main branch of the Satra is located at Namti in Nazira.
