Parul Gulati
Parul Gulati is an Indian Actress who primarily acts in Pollywood or Punjabi movies. She is a trained actor from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London. She was born in Rohtak, Haryana in India. She currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
She accidently stepped in to acting when an advertising agency spotted her after seeing her photos on social media. Later Parul Gulati learned acting from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) , London.
Acting Career
In 2012, she acted in Burrraahh, a Punjabi film which did quite well in that she played the role of Rose. Her second film was Romeo Ranjha in 2014, which was panned by the critics and didnot work well in the box office.
In 2016, she appeared in Zorawar, a Punjabi film directed by Vinnil Markhan and acted opposite to Yo Yo Honey Singh. The film got a good response in box office with mixed reviews. This film become the highest grossing Punjabli film of the year.
Television Career
After a successful stint in Punjabi films, Gulati made her Television debut with a finite TV Series, P.O.W.- Bandi Yuddh Ke for Star Plus, directed by Nikkhil Advani. The show is an official adaption of an Israeli TV series, Hatufim. She plays the role of a Pakistani girl Afreen, who is married to a P.O.W, Parul got lot of praise and appreciation for her portrayal of the Pakistani Urdu speaking girl.
In 2018, She acted in a webseries, Haq se, directed by Ken Ghosh in that she played a Journalist as Jannat Mirza. This character talks about the justice and the diginity of women in the state of Kashmir.
She acted in a telugu movie, Nee Jathalekha and she used to bargain before buying clothes.
