Without any cinema background, he entered the Tamil film industry and progressed with his hard work, creating a fan of the audience with his acting, and he stood in their mind of 'Thala', Ajith Kumar. 

He is also known as 'Ultimate Star', who is branded as one of the leading Tamil actors, he has appeared in a supporting role in Telugu cinema.

Baby Shalini, from a child artist, she grew up as an actress and married to Ajithkumar, who co-starred with him in 'Amarkalam'.

Ajith Kumar was born in Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh's,India. He was born to  Subramaniam, who is Palakkad Iyer and Mohini, a member of the Sindhi community of Calcutta, on May 1, 1971. His elder brother name is  Anoop Kumar he is a stock investor or stock broker in New York and his younger brother is Anil Kumar, who works in Seattle.

Early life and Education

Even though he was born to the Palakkadu father and Sindhi's mother, Hyderabad, Ajith Kumar grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He began his schooling at the Aasan Memorial High School in Thousand Lights, Chennai, and he was found to be uninterested in education. So before he started his high school in 1986, he stopped schooling against the wishes of his parents.

Early works

He abandoned his schooling and joined a two-wheeler bike mechanism. He was more interested in riding the bike and driving the car, he learned to drive them and got the license.

He chose the bike race as his career path, he was acting in small commercials and television commercials, often from time to time to make money as it requires money to join the bike and car races. 

With the injuries caused by the bike races, many business agents inspired him to cast advertisements in advertisement media. As a result, he has a number of film opportunities. When the opportunity knocks he was thinking to choose the career as bike racer or cinema actor then He stepped into cinema, thinking that he wanted to make money.

Early Cine Career

In 1991, at the age of 20, Ajith Kumar got a opportunity to act in a Telugu film, had to miss the chance to act as the director of the film died. 

Later, a year later, in 1992, he debuted in the Telugu film 'Prema Pustakam'. Moreover, he was awarded a 'Best Newcomer Award'. 

In the same year, Selva was in the cast and had a chance to act in 'Amaravathi'. This is his first film in Tamil film industry.

Following this, he acted in films like 'Pasamalarkal' (1994), 'Pavithra' (1994), 'Rajavin Parvaiyilaye' (1995) and 'Aasai' (1995). In 1995, the film 'Aasai' was a big turning point, and earned the title of 'Growing Star' in Tamil film industry.

Marraige life

In 1999, when he starred in the film 'Amarkalam' with actress Shalini, he expressed his love in June, as he fell in love with Shalini. Shalini also admitted that, with both the house consent, they joined a marriage ceremony in Chennai in 2000. After their marriage, Shalini retired from her career. On 3 January 2008, their daughter, Anoushka, was born in Chennai On 2 March 2015, their second child, a son Aadvik was born

Racing Life

He is one among not very many Indians to race in the International field and in Formula titles. He has additionally been abroad for different races, including Germany and Malaysia. He drove in the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships. He hustled in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship alongside two different Indians, Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren.

2001 - Govt of Tamilnadu Award for Best Actor for 'Poovellam un Vasam'

2006 - MGR Film Award from Govt of Tamilnadu won for 'Varalaru' movie.

Two time Vijay Awards winner for 'Varalaru' in 2006 for 'Mankatha' movie in 2011.

Two time 'Cinema Express Award' winner for Best Tamil Actor - 'Vaali' movie in 1999 and for 'Citizen' movie in 2001.

He won the Chennai Times Award for Best Tamil Actor in 2011 for 'Mankatha' movie.

Four time 'Filmfare Awards' winner , in 1999 for 'Vaali' movie, 2002 for 'Villain' movie and for 'Varalaru' movie  in 2006 and 'Billa' movie in 2007.
