Ajith Kumar was born in Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh's,India. He was born to Subramaniam, who is Palakkad Iyer and Mohini, a member of the Sindhi community of Calcutta, on May 1, 1971. His elder brother name is Anoop Kumar he is a stock investor or stock broker in New York and his younger brother is Anil Kumar, who works in Seattle.
Early life and Education
Even though he was born to the Palakkadu father and Sindhi's mother, Hyderabad, Ajith Kumar grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He began his schooling at the Aasan Memorial High School in Thousand Lights, Chennai, and he was found to be uninterested in education. So before he started his high school in 1986, he stopped schooling against the wishes of his parents.
Early works
He abandoned his schooling and joined a two-wheeler bike mechanism. He was more interested in riding the bike and driving the car, he learned to drive them and got the license.
He chose the bike race as his career path, he was acting in small commercials and television commercials, often from time to time to make money as it requires money to join the bike and car races.
With the injuries caused by the bike races, many business agents inspired him to cast advertisements in advertisement media. As a result, he has a number of film opportunities. When the opportunity knocks he was thinking to choose the career as bike racer or cinema actor then He stepped into cinema, thinking that he wanted to make money.
Early Cine Career
In 1991, at the age of 20, Ajith Kumar got a opportunity to act in a Telugu film, had to miss the chance to act as the director of the film died.
Later, a year later, in 1992, he debuted in the Telugu film 'Prema Pustakam'. Moreover, he was awarded a 'Best Newcomer Award'.
In the same year, Selva was in the cast and had a chance to act in 'Amaravathi'. This is his first film in Tamil film industry.

Marraige life
In 1999, when he starred in the film 'Amarkalam' with actress Shalini, he expressed his love in June, as he fell in love with Shalini. Shalini also admitted that, with both the house consent, they joined a marriage ceremony in Chennai in 2000. After their marriage, Shalini retired from her career. On 3 January 2008, their daughter, Anoushka, was born in Chennai On 2 March 2015, their second child, a son Aadvik was born
Racing Life
