The Indian Railways just introduced "SMART" Coaches which has several new features that will enhance the safety and security of train journeys with exceptional Passenger comfort.
The SMART Coach in manufactured by the Modern Coach Factory , Rae bareli as a part of "MAKE IN INDIA" Initiative.The SMART Coach comes with lot of comfort to passengers and ensures more security with intelligent sensor based systems.
The SMART Coach build in LHB Platform equipped with state of art sensors to monitor all aspects. The first one is inspected and soon 100 SMART coaches will be rolled out.
The SMART coach offers Indian Railways a single window platform to monitor several key indicators of the train’s health – from coach diagnosis to security and surveillance system. From a passenger’s perspective the SMART coach boasts of a Wi-fi hot spot information system which passengers can connect their devices such as Laptop, tables and mobile phones to WiFi.
