Chhavi Rajawat - India's First MBA Sarpanch

Chhavi Rajawat is the youngest sarpanch of her village at Rajasthan, village soda which is 60 kms from jaipur. She was not affiliated to any political parties as the panchayat elected representatives do not fit into the bracket of mainstream politics. Chhavi Rajawat is the India's first MBA Graduate to become a sarpanch.
Chhavi Rajawat worked in companies like Times of India, Airtel and Carlson Group once she done her MBA. She gone back to native village Soda in Rajasthan and become the first Sarpanch with MBA. She wanted to bring change from the grass root level because She believed that only will brind the real difference in development.
Outstanding Works in Village
She has been working to bring better water, solar power, paved roads, toilets and a bank to her village. She constructed more than 40 roads and provided uninterrupted supply of drinking water to her village.
Chhavi Rajawat had worked with the residents of her village to build toilets through community participation. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, she said, “Out of the total 900 houses at Soda, toilets have been constructed in 800 houses. A soft drink company spent Rs 20 lakh for cleanliness of a pond, the only source of drinking water in the village.”
Personal Life
Chhavi Rajawat was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She studied in Rishi Valley School in Andhra pradesh and mayo college girls school in Rajasthan. She did her MBA from Sri Balaji Society, Pune. She is living with her parents in Jaipur.

Chhavi Rajawat was honoured by late President of India APJ Abdul Kalam at the Technology Day function at New Delhi.
